Every nationality except those 33 countries listed here require visa for Dubai. From our previous years experience, to issue the visas for players it requires lots of work which can be done very easily if players follow the instructions below very carefully. If not, then it comes very difficult for us and for the players to get her visa (if any) done.
What do you need to do :-
- Fill the attached Visa Application Form, either on line or print it, fill it and fax it to us. Please use 1 form for each person traveling.
- On the form you must make it clear to which fax number or email we should use to send you the visa copy once issued.
- SCAN your passport and email it to the tournament, BE AWARE that passport received by fax is NOT accepted by the Immigration Department, so don’t waste your money faxing the passport as it will not be accepted, most important, DON’T waste your time and ours.
If you don’t have a scanner, easy …., visit any internet café any where in the world and scan it there.
Just make sure that the scan is in JPG format so it doesn’t take much space in your inbox or much time while emailing.
Tip:- by adding your email address in the cc field, you will also receive a copy from it, so you can save it in the inbox and don’t need to carry a floppy disk any more and forward it to any other tournament in the future.
- Make Sure that the passport is valid at least 6 months from tournament date, again 1 day short is not good enough and you are only wasting your time and ours.
- Send the email to us BEFORE 30 Nov. and you will get a free visa. So please don’t wait until the acceptance list is out or until you know if you are in or not, ..etc. It’s free, scan that passport and send it before 30 Nov. there are no commitment on you to participate.
- Entry visas will be submitted at Dubai International Airport prior to arrival.
- Important Notice - All players must arrive through Dubai Airport Only. If you are arriving at any other airport, 10 DAYS NOTICE prior to arrival date must be given to the organizers.
- It’s expected that all visas will be ready by the noon of Wednesday 5 December, so please try to avoid making any flight arrangement before that.
Did you miss the 30th Nov. Deadline?
- Sorry, tough luck, you must pay $100 per visa.
- Follow all the above steps one by one and in addition, print the credit card payment approval form, fill it, sign it, fax it.
- We are sorry that we are not going to start processing any visa if we didn’t receive the above and charged the credit card with $100 per visa.
- Allow us from 2 to 3 days to get your visa ready.
- Again, don’t waist your time and ours requesting not to pay this, we are not making any money from it, this is what we will pay to the government to get the visa issued including the forms price, typing and preparing, transportation up and down to the immigration department and to the airport, …etc. So since someone has to pay this, it should be you.
- Don’t have credit card, again tough luck. Please do not ask us to pay the fees on your behalf. Simply put, it will not happen, so instead of calling and requesting, please try to find any friend who can fill the payment form for you.
